Country of Origin Labeling (COOL)

Country of Origin Labeling Compliance (COOL) is a labeling law that requires food retailers to provide their customers with information regarding the source of certain foods. Food products covered in this law include muscle cut and ground meats (beef, veal, pork, lamb, goat, and chicken), wild and farm-raised fish and shellfish, fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables, peanuts, pecans, and macadamia nuts; and ginseng.  The Federal Register states that food retailers may use a label, stamp, mark, place card, or other clear and visible method to provide customers with the required information.

Paragon Labeling Systems understands this initiative, and has automated labeling products available to help companies comply with this mandate.  Our solution allows end-users to comply with the COOL by automatically applying the required COOL information on every package of food in your supply chain.  Our solution is designed to enhance the value of your existing business system, while simultaneously cutting cost. Each installation is tailored for the individual operation. Take costs out of your business while achieving COOL Compliance.
